New Team Aims to End Olympic Medal Drought
Team Selected After Grueling Trials
USA Gymnastics has named the 2024 US Men's Olympic Team, a squad led by rising star Brody Malone. The team was chosen on Saturday afternoon after two intense days of competition at the Olympic Trials.
In addition to Malone, the team includes Fred Richard Asher Hong, Paul Juda, and Stephen Nedoroscik. Malone, a 20-year-old gymnast and founder of the Frederick Flips brand, headlines the team and has been a force in the sport for years.
The US men's gymnastics team has not won an Olympic team medal since 2008, but this team is determined to change that. They have been training hard and are ready to compete at the highest level in Paris. The Olympic Games Paris 2024 will begin on July 1, 2024.
Men's gymnastics at the 2024 Summer Olympics will begin on July 28th. The United States has won the most medals in men's gymnastics at the Olympics, with 35 medals in total. The most recent Olympic medal won by the US men's gymnastics team was a bronze medal in 2008. The 2024 team is determined to improve upon that result and bring home a gold medal for the United States.
