Dallas Reaches NBA Finals Once More
The Dallas Mavericks are headed to the NBA Finals following a 124-103 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. The Mavs completed their gentleman's sweep of the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the NBA's 2024 Western Conference Finals.
This will be the Mavericks' first NBA Finals appearance since 2011, when Dirk Nowitzki and the team captured the franchise's first NBA championship.
The Celtics, meanwhile, advanced to the Finals by sweeping the Miami Heat in four games in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The NBA Finals will begin on June 1st in Boston. Game 2 will be played on June 3rd, also in Boston.
